Protestant Theological Society of Pittsburgh (PTS)

PTS exists to reform the church through an intentional retrieval of classical theology and the promotion of confessional communities. Local scholars, ministers, and interested laypersons are welcome to join us, as we meet monthly at participating local churches to review and discuss the newest and most prominent books, essays, and journal articles on classical theology.

PTS is currently engaging the contents of On Classical Trinitarianism: Retrieving the Nicene Doctrine of the Triune God.

If you would like to join PTS or come and observe, please email bart@cross-faith.org to request an invitation, as the date and location each month is subject to change.

“You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” – 2 Peter 3:17-18
